Hi!! It's me, Reneé.
I'm a work at home Momma of 4. Shae, (She's 9) Dawson (He's 5 years old) and twins, Shyloh & Tyce (They live in heaven). I am married to the man that makes me laugh the most, Scott {And MAN do we like to laugh}. I'm a children's book author & my family is on an autism journey that I often blog about. I love all things vintage and imperfect. My favorite accessories are my kids and my camera. We pray hard, laugh alot, and try not to take life too seriously. I bring my laid-back, quirky, fun-ness to each session so that together we can create a fun experience that produces the photos you want to fill your wall with.
I am drawn to the photos of families interacting together, the picture of kids telling each other secrets, or the engaged couple looking at each other, lovingly when they don't think I'm looking. The real moments.
I truly love all aspects of photography, but there is something magical about photographing weddings & newborn babies. As a bride & groom you love each other so much that you are joining both of your families into one, all the while you are surrounded by your favorite friends to help you experience this wonderful day that serves as the start for the rest of your life together. That, my friend, is why I LOVE being a wedding photographer. I get to capture all the personality, all the love, all the surprises & details of such a monumental day. My experience as an assistant to a wedding coordinator probably helps too. The next monumental time for a family is the birth of their baby. My favorite verse is James 1:17, Every good and perfect gift is from above. I believe this with all my heart. Children are such a gift. Hence why I LOVE photographing newborn babies.
